10/1 - Todays report is from A.F.F.S. member guide Al Zalata.. Greetings!! I only fished 1 day so far this past week.. A couple of coastal storms, a bunch of rain and lot's of wind. The temps are falling a bit, which means things should be picking up, that's at least what I'm thinking. There i s a lot of bait in the bay, and some of the guys are loading up on the spots (small fish) for bait for the fall striper run.. I did find a few keeper sized weakfish, maybe they will stack up before they leave.. - I'll pass on the "spots" and stick to the flies-- CATCHEMUP, Al..http://www.a2zfish.com/reports.html

Sitting in my hotel room in Oaks, PA. This morning catching up on some writing before breakfast and then off to the Philadelphia Fishing Show here at the Expo Center. I'm all set up as of yesterday afternoon. Put together a 59' x 10' floor casting pond for this event along with our "SIMUL-CAST" Video Projection set up and wireless PA. system. Christian DelCollo President of BATTLEWAGON BOATS in Jersey yesterday delivered my pretty little red & grey skiff and we put my TOHATSU 9.9 on her stern that I picked up from Jersey storage on Wednesday after I flew into Philly. Christian helped me get our Pondside display all put together and we finalized our Manufacturer/Sponsorship/Sales Agreement. Christian will be at the factory today but will rejoin me here at the Show on Saturday all day. Not to worry I will be able assisted today by both long time friends and A.F.F.S. team members Chip Jablonski WALK ON THE WILDSIDE fly guide from Allentown,PA and Nick Pullano A.F.F.S. Photographer - Videographer and Media/Sales Mgr. This Show looks great as it sets up with lots of top fishing industry pros and vendors in attendance. Just about anything you like in fishing can be found here with impressive displays from many terrific manufacturers, lodges. Resorts. captains and guides from freshwater and salt. Fly to Conventional tackle is all under one roof with the latest kayaks to sport fishermen boats. Foldaboats to Party Boats are all here. If your near Philly this is the place to be this weekend. Glad I am. Lots of pics and video clips will be posted from now through Sunday. Hope to see you here.
